Registration for JK to Grade 8

ADMISSION POLICIES

Olive Grove School welcomes students from any ethnic, racial backgrounds, or faith persuasions. Our main consideration is to ensure that any student admitted is capable of handling a strong academic curriculum successfully. Admission at Olive Grove School involves a selective process to maintain the high-quality services of the school.  Applicants are required to provide the following documents:  

 

c     Completed Registration Form

c   A signed OGS Financial Contract and VOID CHEQUE 

c     Copies of report cards from previous years (the final year and current record)

c    Completed Medical Form, along with a copy of the immunization record and health card

c     A copy of the Birth Certificate

c     Two photographs 

c     Previous school's referral upon our request

c     Signed Code of Behaviour, Conduct and Expectations Form

c     Signed Parental Agreement 

c     Check list of admission procedures

 

Upon submitting the above documents, the applicants will be invited to come to the school for an administrative interview and will write an assessment in English and Math for students applying for grades 2 to 8.   

 

Once these steps are completed, a decision on admission will be made and mailed to each applicant's parent/guardian. The decision to admit a new student is made by OGS admission committee and will be based on a number of factors:  

  1. Written assessment  
  2. Interview with the applicant and parents 
  3. Previous report cards  
  4. Previous school's referral
